Tomorrow's 10-race programme at Caymanas Park offers two Super-6s, the overlapping Super-6 embracing races five to 10.

The Pick-9 was absent on Wednesday as only eight races were on the card. It resumes tomorrow with a carryover of $1 million. This will be conducted from race two to 10.

We look at the second Super-6 which gets under way with a straight-five race for native and imported three-year-olds to be contested by eight starters.

Only two horses matter in this race - the progressive filly SEA DEVIL who is coming off an impressive fast-time win over 1100 metres, and the American colt SIR VON, who is unbeaten in two starts.

Both have looked real sharp at exercise in preparation for this clash, but the Wayne DaCosta-trained SIR VON looked so awesome in executing his two wins that he should be followed until his colours are lowered.

The DaCosta-trained DOCTOR DEVIOUS looks best of a moderate lot in the sixth, Division I of the 3-y-o maiden condition race over 1200 metres for horses who have not finished better than fifth lifetime.

Surprisingly beaten

Although having shown little thus far, DOCTOR DEVIOUS has caught the eye at exercise in preparation for this race, and coming from from the stables of the champion trainer, should be good enough with only 50.5kg to win from main rival CROWN JEWEL and IRISH SPIRIT.

ROMEZ, who was surprisingly beaten by the remarkable grey gelding NASATOL over the straight on July 24, should rebound over the same distance in the seventh race for high claimers, despite the presence of NASATOL.

NASATOL is so much in love with the straight that he cannot be discounted, while FIRST TIME LUCKY (loves the straight) and COLEMAN'S ROCK (regaining form) will not be out of it. But ROMEZ looks leniently treated with only 53.0kg and is preferred to FIRST TIME LUCKY and NASATOL.

SWIFT GLORY, having caught the eye in running (prominent) behind OCHUN over 1600 metres recently, looks leniently treated with 51.0kg and Georgina Sergeon aboard in the eighth race, Division II of the 3-y-o maiden condition race over 1200 metres, and should win from the front-running DIAMOND VALLEY.

The stretch-running filly SEEK GOLD, the mount of leading all-time jockey Winston 'Fanna' Griffiths, should supplement her recent win over 1300 metres by following up in the ninth race over 1400 metres for the Reca Trophy, to be contested by 12 starters.

Trained by Richie Phillipps, SEEK GOLD will love the distance and should repeat at the expense of ORION and recent winner BACK AT YOU, putting Griffiths only three wins away from 1,600 career wins.

Then, take the recent winner MERIT'S BRITE LITE (improving) to repeat at the expense of Griffiths' mount ADANNA, FLYING MARGARET and SHAWN'S GIRL in the closing Alex's Imports Dig-Out Handicap over 1300 metres.
